Greater Glasgow NHS board are rumoured to be closing firstly the Queen Mum’s Hospital and then Yorkhill Sick Kids. They seem hell-bent in reducing the number of hospitals no matter how good or well renowned they are. A number of online petitions have started to allow people to voice their opposition with the main petition found here at the Evening Times. Please register – it may make a difference.

Hidden & Dangerous which was first released four years ago is now available as a free download. It was pretty groundbreaking at the time but very buggy, although the download includes add-ons and also the latest patches. You’d never have thought the follow up was due for release soon?!
Webs Favourite Colour
Update on the progress of the webs favourite colour. Its definetly a drab red/wine colour, which is pretty surprising – would have though a blue based on the sky and water shots or green as a lot of photo’s have grass. The wonders of the net, eh?
iTunes For Windows
Its rumoured that iTunes For Windows will launch next Thursday. I hope so – the pc software for the IPod is pretty poor next to iTunes.
Half-Life 2 Theft
Much has been made of the source code being stolen from Valve by hackers – story can be read here. Most ironic is that most of the users making a fuss probably have a copied Windows XP, Office XP (maybe even 2003 by now) and who knows what else. Fools.

IPod
When I bought an Ipod the first thing that struck me was the packaging. It was superb – the best I’d seen for any of my many gadgets. It makes no difference to the usefulness of the product but made me take value in the product. If you haven’t got an Ipod then you won’t know what I mean – unless you look at the piccies here.
If you really want to experience an Ipod for little or no cash (but a bit of effort) you could do worse than try this.
Champions Update
Fantastic – 1-1 draw with Panathinaikos away from home but annoyingly they were 5 minutes from an away win. Bugger, but great at the same time. Man U lost as well which shows just how well we played against Stuttgart and means Rangers are currently top of their league:

Glasgow teams are playing yet again this week. Fantastic game for Celtic last night and a good 2-0 win. Rangers turn tonight with a tough away gamein Greece, but they’ve just scored – its 0-1 – the first time they’ve scored in Greece. Way-hey. Its half time and it couldn’t be going any better.
Of course by Saturday a Rangers win in the old firm derby is all that matters!
Stunt Doubles
Watching The Matrix trailer again, you can easily spot the stunt doubles especially here and here.
I know doubles are used in most stunts but I don’t like watching a movie and spotting the double with ease, especially when the ones above look more like Charlie Sheen than Keanu Reeves.
