Wired has an article on the RIAA subpoenas that are currently being filed. To check if the RIAA want you, visit the EFF. If theres one way for the music industry to alienate its customer base, this is it.
Saw this on the BBC site. So for us singletons out there there is a perfectly valid and healthy reason to masturbate. Doesn’t mention its a cure for sore heads though which is my pet theory.
Got the subs copy of Empire this month with Empire Movie Almanac glued onto the front cover. Some really geeky facts like all the winners of the The Razzies, the players in Escape to Victory but it was the movie quotes that made me smile the most. Especially Ezekiel 25:17:
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
Which got me thinking, there must be somewhere on the net which has a list of movie quotes – trusty google led me to imdb…enjoy.
Seen the video (or one of the 38 remix versions) of the Canadian kid pretending to be Darth Maul? Well download it…laugh and then realise that the kid is receiving psychiatric help and is suing his classmates. Only in Amer…..Canada.
If you do click on the link above make sure you look at SWK 2.0. Hilarious but some folk have too much time on their hands.
9 weeks ago I never thought I would be writing this – Cameron looks favourite to win BB4 tonight. Watched some of BB this year and its been fairly dull, but Cameron stood out as at least being honest and prepared to stick to his beliefs no matter what. Although Rays tantrums have been pretty funny.
A sad day for geek Star Trek fans – Walter Jefferies who was the man that designed the original Starship Enterprise has died. It must be pretty remarkable to design such an icon that has lasted so long.
