Sad news – Graeme Kelling, guitarist in Deacon Blue has died. Deacon Blue were my favourite band by miles when I was at school and I still enjoy the odd listen to their hits. He will be missed.

A sad day for geek Star Trek fans – Walter Jefferies who was the man that designed the original Starship Enterprise has died. It must be pretty remarkable to design such an icon that has lasted so long.
