I’d have to agree. There’s no way I could live without broadband. Even just from an instant access to information point of view. It is essential. Since getting broadband, I never turn my PC off. Just incase I need to check something. Its too handy a tool. It also means that email is a reliable way to contact me. Since if I’m at home I’ll get my mail right away, not when I can be assed to boot up the PC.

More importantly, I’d miss the social aspect that Xbox Live brings to broadband. Any house move is conditional on broadband. And I look fwd to one day getting the heady uploads and downloads that Japan and some of Europe have been enjoying in recent years.

And then theres the shady downloads…. 😉
