I’ve been with PlusNet since June 2002. I have definately noticed a drop in service (speed). I was forced to upgrade from Plus to Premier because I was being throttled. And get this … after the upgrade they continued to throttle me.

I was in discusion with their tech support for about 2 weeks asking them to stop throttling me and to give me the Premier service that I was now paying for. They told me that they were not throttling me and that I was under no restrictions. They even said that they had tested my download speeds and all was fine.

It wasn’t … so I carried out my own tests … the same download with my PlusNet ADSL connection was actally slower than it was with my 56K modem connection (under exactly the same conditons)! Something was definately rotten in the state of Denmark!

I got back to the tech support guys and told them that I was leaving PlusNet … then a miracle happened … it seemed that the good Lord had decided to intervene! Within 24 hrs my download speeds jumped up to what they were supposed to be.

All that happened about 12 months ago. However, just recently I have noticed that my download speeds are starting to drop again … this time I will probably leave because I just can’t be bothered with the hassle!
