Trying out a new image viewer called Gallery. Seem less fussy than Coppermine and also a bit more customisable when it comes to layout. My new Gallery can be found here but with little photo’s at the moment.
I downloaded Gallery a couple of weeks ago, but haven’t got round to using it yet. The non-intuitive/ hidden login button on the Coppermine theme I’m using really annoys me.
Coppermine is feature rich but the front end interface is cluttered and it’s not the best at getting quickly to photo’s. Gallery is a lot cleaner but then it’s a bit more clunky to set-up – telnet access and shell commands. But once up and running it’s straightforward and easy (ish) to wrap your own HTML round so it looks pretty.
